As part of Multi-Story Orchestra’s expanded chamber music series in the Hay Bale Auditorium, a mixture of some of the most exciting contemporary works for percussion ensemble will be presented, including American composer Mark Applebaum’s absurdist piece Straitjacket, contemporary-Chinese composer Guo Wenjing’s Drama for Three Pairs of Cymbals and Voices of Players, and David Lang’s the so-called laws of nature.
